St Ambrose is part of the Catholic Diocese of Lismore and holds a close relationship with the other Catholic schools in the Tweed/Murwillumbah region for the benefit of both students and staff.

St Ambrose prepares your child to transition into high school as a confident young student engaged with their learning.

The Catholic Diocese of Lismore offers two local Colleges into which Year 6 students can transition: Mt St Patrick College, Murwillumbah and St Joseph’s College, Banora PointSt Ambrose Primary School is a direct feeder school for both Colleges.

Year 7 enrolment forms for both Colleges are distributed through the school when students are in Year 6. Both Colleges run Open Days/Nights and comprehensive transition programs. Students/Parents will be notified through the St Ambrose school calendar when these occur.

“Importantly, St Ambrose is a Catholic School whereby true Catholic values and traditions will be truly embedded within the day to day life of the school.”
Brian Laybutt, Principal, St Ambrose Primary School.
