Sunday 8th May Mother’s Day
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Vigil Mass - Time Change from this Saturday May 7 to September 24th
As of this Saturday May 7, the Vigil Mass will be at 5.00pm instead of 6.00pm. This new time will remain in place until September 24th. We are running this new time as a trial this year, if it proves suitable we will consider implementing it as a permanent time for the winter months.
School News
Important Date Changes:
Walk Safely to School is now on the 19th May
Athletics Carnival is now on the 20th June
National Walk Safely to School Day is a community initiative that aims to raise awareness of the health, road safety, transport and environmental benefits that regular walking (especially to and from school) can provide for the long term well-being of our children.
Come and join the St Ambrose school community participating in this event.
We encourage everyone who is able to meet at the market grounds between Philip Street and Tweed Coast Road at 8:15 am Thursday 19th of May and so we can walk safely to school together.
Calling all Green Thumbs
The St Ambrose green team is an enthusiastic crew of future gardiners keen to learn. We meet at lunchtime (11:05am) every Tuesday to work on our school gardens.
We would like to invite all gardiners to help us in the school.
Whether you're a keen gardener or a serial plant killer we would love you to join us and help us learn in our garden.
If you are interested in helping out please contact
Jeff Bottle: Jeffrey.bottle@lism.catholic.
