On Monday 10th February, year 5 and 6 were thrilled to welcome the AFL Gold Coast Suns to St Ambrose!! We were very lucky to have Will, Bodhi and Ben! The players spent time interacting with our students, signing autographs, and sharing their knowledge and experiences of AFL with students. On Wednesday 4th December Jorge Johnson travelled to Lismore to represent the Lismore Diocese at the Polding Cricket Trials. Jorge played exceptionally well batting and bowling throughout the day.
St Ambrose Reconciliation week 2024 Celebrations. Throughout Reconciliation Week the students and staff of St Ambrose came together and broke the barrier between Indigenous and Non-indigenous Australians. We celebrated this week by wearing a splash of yellow as well as students creating a number of art works with deep meaning. We also created a beautiful cultural display in our Library for students, staff and visitors to be a part of.
Duke has been selected in Polding squad for rugby league. He is one of only 17 players out of 6 Diocese Teams to be chosen from the trials in Tamworth.
Duke will now compete for polding in Sydney in June. The trials will last for a week and he is aiming to make the NSW team.
