St Ambrose Primary School is one of two primary schools in the Catholic Parish of Kingscliff. St Anthony’s Primary School is based at Kingscliff and works closely with the staff of St Ambrose School, for the benefit of the students and the teachers.
The Parish Priest of St Anthony’s Parish, Fr Paul McDonald, is extremely proud the Parish is able to provide a Catholic education to the children of Pottsville and surrounding communities. The new Catholic School is supported by the Bishop of Lismore, the Most Reverend Gregory Homeming.
St Ambrose has joined 44 other primary and secondary schools in the Diocese, actively seeking to uphold a proud tradition of Catholic education in the Diocese that stretches back over 150 years.
Year 6 students from St Ambrose are eligible to transition into the local Catholic secondary colleges at Banora Point and Murwillumbah. St Ambrose is a feeder school for both Colleges.
St Anthony’s Parish offers regular weekday and weekend masses, opportunities for reconciliation and prayer as well as friendship and family groups.
